The year in INSEAD was one of the best experiences of my life – so I definitely did not want to miss the reunion. About 250 classmates showed up – and some others were greatly missed! Another 5 years to the next one.
Day 62 – Networking in INSEAD
When the sun is setting, between dusk and darkness, there is a moment when the light turns blue. And the world stops for a heartbeat.

This weekend was my 5-year Insead (MBA) reunion. It was amazing to see all the people – many for the first time since graduation. To add to the memories, the evening party was hosted in the Fontainebleau castle. A visual masterpiece, and a phenomenal party!
With my mother half a world away, I spent my Mother’s Day brunch with friends. Me and Stuart had great time with Ally, Chris and their two pups. We were unable to get a table in any brunch restaurant in town (Mother’s Day problem…), so we ended up in their newly built house. And we ate way too much – as appropriate.

Live music, drinks, friends and bales of hay. What else could you need for a nice night out?
A friend of mine – another Finnish girl – is moving from Johannesburg to Amsterdam. As a farewell party she organised a cooking class in The Discovery Health Kitchen – lots of fun and a great meal to follow.
As a bonus, I’m also posting the picture of the finished falafels, which are in the making in the first photo.

Breakfast with the ladies to celebrate an upcoming wedding. Sunshine and a lot of laughter. Perfect start to a Wednesday.
In the second day of the conference, we went ziplining. I guess you can justify it with all the benefits of team building, but we just did it because it was fun. Despite the very hot weather. And the climbing.
Aylin and the starfish.
