It’s only day 4 and I came home from work tired – and almost forgot my photo… Luckily there is makro… Stuart has a great habit of brining me flowers every few weeks, so there is typically something to shoot at.
Day 4 – Saviour of a tired evening
When the sun is setting, between dusk and darkness, there is a moment when the light turns blue. And the world stops for a heartbeat.
It’s only day 4 and I came home from work tired – and almost forgot my photo… Luckily there is makro… Stuart has a great habit of brining me flowers every few weeks, so there is typically something to shoot at.
Merlin (I have a feeling I’ll have a lot of blog posts about him) is a hyperactive little pup. Some time ago, I bought him kids crawling tunnel, and taught him to jump and crawl. Maybe someday, we get around to actually getting some real agility equipment.
It is amazing how much comfort a pot with herbs can give you. Having spent the last years zig-zaging around the world, it is nice to feel settled.
Few pictures of the Home.

Aubepines are in bloom right now – and apple tree is about to blossom too. What can I say. Spring.
Long time and no posts… I have a lot of new pictures to post, but first a word of explanation for the past weeks silence. We’ve been moving. Enough said.
Moving house in luxembourg requires a lot of extra measures. Blocking half of the road, for example, to have room for the moving van…
…and naturally getting a lift to get anything bigger than a box up the stairway to second floor
But, at last, we are home!
Third week in Luxembourg.
We have found our supermarket, gas station, necessary government offices and my office. All very close. Our temporary home is like Luxembourg in general – beautiful, romantic, and tiny.
Air freight boxes arrived yesterday. That’s both good and bad news. We finally have most of my winter clothes here. But no closet space. I feel like a student again building temporary shelves out of the boxes. Suddenly the five weeks between now and getting our permanent home seem a lot longer.
After moving to Luxembourg, parking has become a major pat of everyday life. There is none. And where there is space, the regulation of who can park and for how long. Naturally all in French.
We are now just taking it easy, learning to know the city and enjoying some quiet home-time. Even cooking. Without an oven.
